Open Source woes..

Yeah.. so in my excitement to try out Looking Glass.. I formatted a 13G partition on my laptop and dual booted it.. and... linux crashes.. doesnt load X windows.. bah! All the excitement.. no ive gotta try out various flavors to see which one works on me laptop...
